The Peacock is a 42 key hybrid Wicky (Hayden without the keyboard slant) duet concertina designed and developed by the Concertina Connection® Inc..

The instruments measures 7 inch across the flats. The Standard model is available with ebonized (black) or natural finished ends.

Bi-directional vs. Uni-directional keyboards

The Troubadour is available with both bidirectional and unidirectional keyboards. The layout is identical, but the keyboard direction is different.

Bidirectional keyboard (standard):
Keyboard ascending direction (low notes to high notes) is top to bottom for the right hand, and ottom to top for the left hand. Fingering for both hands is not identical (opposite).
